Dr. Kumar Honored As Community MVP!

Last week, Dr. Kumar had the distinction of being named one of the Myra Kraft “Community MVPs,” an honor given to “individuals who exemplify leadership, dedication and a commitment to improving their communities through volunteerism.” Dr. Kumar’s amazing work with Shape Up RI over the past 6 years – work that led to ShapeUp as we know it today – earned him this prestigious recognition, which he accepted at Gillette Stadium alongside other nominees from all over New England.
