Introducing Our New Step It Up Challenge!
We are ever so excited to announce our newest social wellness challenge: Step It Up, a team-based competition focused on meeting goals and breaking through personal boundaries.
With Step It Up, we’re hoping to encourage people to challenge their own perceptions of themselves. A lot of us have preconceived notions of our abilities. Take me, for example. It doesn’t feel like I’ll ever be able to run ten miles straight through without stopping. Not in the cards. For other people it might seem impossible to accommodate an hour of daily exercise into a packed schedule, or virtually unthinkable to climb several flights of stairs without pausing for breath.
But really? These goals can be accomplished, you just have to approach them correctly. And that’s where Step It Up comes in. This challenge makes difficult, long-term goals, like running 10 miles straight through like a champion, achievable by breaking them down into approachable weekly levels, to be tackled incrementally. Plus, with the support of a team behind you, you’re much more likely to stay committed and knock off your levels week by week.
