Tech Gets The Job Done

Of all the effusive opinions uncovered by our Technology + Employee Wellness Survey, one thing was made especially clear: tech gets the job done.
Specifically, an overwhelming 90% of respondents felt that technological tools helped engage employees in health. At the same time, an impressive 82% felt tech delivered better health outcomes, and 77% enjoyed higher cost savings as a result of health technology.
Sounds pretty conclusive to me: Technology is a powerful tool that can provide new ways of approaching employee wellness challenges or enhance participation in traditional, proven methods. I call that a win-win.
But there’s more! Oh yes there is. 94% of respondents felt that the positive effects of technology had a ripple effect, generally improving employee perception of their workplace’s wellness efforts overall, a crucial first step. Once proper attitudes and perceptions are in place, the rest – like, engagement and cost savings – will fall in line.
